DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF
ISRAEL’S HOPE, Inc.
The members of this
mission declare their belief in:
The
divine, verbal, plenary inspiration, infallibility and inerrancy of the
Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as originally given, and their
absolute and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; John 14:26.
The unity and trinity
of God, eternally existing in three co-equal Persons, the Father, the Son, and
the Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14.
The
creation of man in divine image, his subsequent fall through sin, resulting in
universal guilt and total depravity, and necessity of redemption and
restoration.
Genesis 1:26-27;
Romans 3:9-10; 5:12,19; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19.
The deity of Jesus
Christ, His virgin birth, perfect life, redeeming death, bodily resurrection,
heavenly intercession, and His personal return.
Colossians 2:9; Matthew 1:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Corinthians
15:3-4; 1 John 2:1; Matthew 25:31.
The necessity of the
new birth as the work of God and the Holy Spirit to be obtained only by
receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour; that men
are saved by grace through faith, not by works. 1 Corinthians 1:9; 2
Thessalonians 2:13; John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8-9.
The
bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust; the everlasting blessedness of
the saved and the everlasting punishment of the lost.
Daniel 12:2; John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:4-6; 11-15.
The mission of the
Church as being to glorify God and to preach the gospel to a world lost without
Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Mark 16:15.
